Hi hi! Welcome to ‘PurelyPope Picks’ where I showcase a few of my favorite items that I’m currently obsessing over. You can check out July’s PurelyPope Picks to see what I’m probably still obsessing over too! Without further a do, let’s get into August’s PurelyPope Picks!

PurelyPope Picks: August Faves!

  • Food & Beverage Products:
    • Bare Organics Goji Berries: Seriously I put these on EVERYTHING! I love them and I do them on top of smoothies, yogurt, in my Broccoli Slaw and salads. You can use code POPE25 for 25% off any products.
    • CaPao Fruit I pretty much won’t stop talking about CaPao – but long story short, they rescue the leftover cacao fruit that isn’t used to make chocolate and make delicious ‘smoothie balls.’ They’re very clean and delish!     • Food for Life Bread: I love that they’re organic, and I trust the brand entirely. It’s made from whole, sprouted grains which I love as well. I love the seven seed bread. You can typically find it in the frozen section at the grocer, but I have it linked here too!
    • Simply Gangster Chic Inulin: Inulin is derived from Jerusalem Artichoke Root and is a pure fiber powder. I typically add it to my coffee. I love it every day to help digestion, bloating and keep my skin clear. It’s honestly amazing. You have to slowly increase your consumption of it (I started with 1/2 tsp and now do 1 tbsp.)
  • Wellness Apps
    • Flo Living: I’m truly obsessed with this app and it has helped me really feel in charge of my period again. It’s liberating knowing when/where I am in my cycle. The founder has an amazing podcast on Arielle Lorre’s podcast, which you can listen to here. Basically it’s all about how we require different needs depending on where we are in our cycles. I couldn’t recommend it more.
    • Mimi Method: I just started using this app this month, but I’m very much so into Mimi’s guided mediations. They’re all about visualization which I’m obsessed with!
  • Skin:
  • Recipes:
    • Cauliflower Sweet Potato Salad: This is a great recipe for a BBQ or group gathering. Everyone will love it – it’s a fun twist on a traditional potato salad.
    • Vegan Spinach Artichoke Dip: My dad literally almost ate the whole batch of this, not kidding LOL! It’s so good paired with crackers or veggies, you’ll LOVE!
    • 3 Ingredient Cookies: These are so simple and great for when your sweet tooth hits and you need something FAST – just trust me.
  • Reads:
    • Fiction: It Ends with Us: This book is a page turner – a love story with a tragic twist which is exactly what I like haha! I can’t spoil any more!
    • Non-Fiction: Remember to Live: This book is the ultimate inspiration if you’re needing an extra kick to make a change in your life or are really ready to dive into a new lifestyle. It’s by Khalil Rafati and the prequel to this book is ‘I Forgot to Die’ which is a must read as well! Check out a full book review here!
  • Fashion:
    • alo Knot Bra: I’ve had this in white for over a year. Best Bra ever and I always get compliments on it! I’m wearing it in the blog photo 😉
    • Little Words Project: These are the cute bracelets you always see me wearing. Their mission is for women to be kind to themselves and to others, promoting collaboration over competition and I love that.
    • Zara Shoulder Pad Tanks: Love these for adding some class to a simple staple. They’re also on $20!

  • Supplements/Vitamins:
    • Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy: I’ve been doing this since mid-August and I already feel like a new person. If you’re a woman and close to or over 30, I highly recommend getting your hormones checked. If your hormones are out of wack, basically you’ll be out of wack (weight, stress, emotions, sex drive, etc.) I started with LifeExtension and did the women’s hormone panel & thyroid panel and then I went from there to figure out if I needed to work with a doctor, which I decided I did! I chose Dr. Jen Berman – more on that later!
    • Seed Synbiotic: I’ve been taking seed for about 2 weeks now and I absolutely love it. Why do I love it so much?   • Misc:
    • IG Time Limit: I noticed myself getting lost for hours on social media, and it was stressing me to F out to be honest. I set a time limit of 1.5 hours (most it’s 2) a day on Instagram and it’s helped enormously. I also try to put my phone down by 10pm (work in progress!)
    • Love, not Labels: Basically a mentality I’ve been hyper focused on this month. I don’t need to identify in a certain box, I just need to show up for myself and show myself love each day – on my OWN terms, no one else’s! More on that in my book, Leading with Love!
